On January 2, 1979, Telephone Communications, Inc., d/b/a TCI, began as a telephone interconnect company with humble beginnings. Kenneth Bice, CEO and President of TCI, had a dream of having his own company and providing top quality telephone equipment and service to businesses.

Today, as a systems consulting, contracting, and services firm, TCI is thriving with year after year increases in sales revenues and maintains a high level of commitment to servicing its customers. TCI has 17 employees, who work in its communications, security, and IT consulting.  In operating the day-to-day operations, Kenneth and Fran (Corporate Secretary/Treasurer) have relied upon family and other highly trusted people to run TCI.  Barry Russell is the Vice President and IT Manager of TCI.  Jimmy Houston is the Technical Supervisor, and Doris Dixon is the Office Manager.

The key to TCI’s success will continue to be its service, and its ability to adapt to market trends and dynamics. The management of TCI foresees a further convergence of technologies in the market place. Therefore, they believe that the integration of TCI’s divisions and operations is vital.  Each division works together to provide integrated solutions to TCI’s customers. TCI sees itself as the technology source for its customers’ needs – whether that need is a telephone or paging system, a burglar or fire alarm system, a CCTV or access control system, or a computer or network system.
